Hopefully most of the coughs and sneezes of winter will soon be behind us and we can start to enjoy some lighter evenings too...
I have just finished a 5 week beginner course in Swansea for the Council and Communities First; what fun we all had. The ladies who attended (why are there so few men line dancing?!) were a lovely bunch who showed true dedication, as they didn't find it as easy as it looks! Well done girls for persevering! They now know 6 dances and we had a little fun one today too, just for a laugh. I am so proud of them and hope to see them again soon. (I'm also looking forward to enjoying the bottle of wine they gave me as a thank you!)
I have had so many enquiries about starting classes. If you want to join us, just do it! You have nothing to lose but the £4 it costs for a class and everything to gain: enjoyment, fun and laughs, new friends, a great social life, line dance weekends and holidays and hopefully feeling fitter too.
A group of us has just booked a line dance cruise in May 2016 (there'll be no classes that week) round the Greek Islands, sailing from Venice and I can't wait. But first we have several weekend away too - starting this weekend with Billy Curtis in Bridgend.
On Thursday 19th February we're having a small party - so bring a plate please. This is for class members only, though new members are always welcome.
Looking forward to seeing you soon
