Well, it is with some regret that I have to announce that the new class we were planning for February, and then March, won't be going ahead for the foreseeable future.
After lengthy email conversations with the studios who offered us the space, it seems that there is a significant delay on having the studio we were offered ready for dancing any time soon.
Firstly, I want to sincerely apologise for the disappointment this will cause to those who have been waiting for this class to get going. Please be assured that we would not have publicised the class had we been aware that the planned renovations would not go according to schedule. Obviously, this is entirely out of our hands, and we hope that, when the works are completed, we will be able to hold classes in the studio. But we have no idea when that will be.
Secondly, I will start work again today to seek an alternative venue for a Tuesday evening class. If anyone knows of a suitable venue, preferably in the Swansea area, with wooden floor and nearby parking, at a reasonable hourly rate, please call me (07724 119854).
In the meantime, come and join our Thursday evening class. We start at 7.30pm with an hour suitable for beginners. If you are completely new to dancing, you will be taught in a smaller group in another room, and then join the whole group for dancing the dance. This means you get quality tuition at a pace that's right for you.
For more experienced dancers, the evening progresses with Improver and Intermediate dancing and teaching from 8.30pm. Come as early as you like, stay as late as you like, just £4 for the evening.
Although we are disappointed that our exciting plans didn't come off (as yet) please watch this space for more news as we seek alternative class slots.
