Dear dancers, I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that we are closing all our classes with immediate effect until such time as it is safe to go about daily life as normal again. We will miss you whilst we all practice social distancing and self isolating, as is necessary for us ALL to do. However, please make sure that you keep in touch with as many people as you can (via phone/email etc) and try to get some form of exercise every day within the safe confines of your home and garden. Putting on some music and dancing some simple line dances for half an hour or so will help keep you fit, both mentally and physically. Dances such as cowboy charleston don't take up much room in the house. I will attempt to post some online teaching videos in the weeks ahead, to keep your mind and feet active, so keep an eye out for that. I appreciate not everyone is on the Internet or social media, so please pass on this message to anyone you know who may not get it. I will endeavour to call everyone within the next few days, but if you want to call me, please do so (07724119854).

How lazy have I been, no blogs this year?!
If you've recently joined us, welcome. It's also been very good to see some familiar faces back with us after a long break, you were very much missed! Well, Clive and I are off on some travels soon - starting with a trip to Benidorm to …. you've guessed it - do line dancing! Tuesday class (10th March) will not have cover while we're away, but Jella and Myfanwy are going to put on requests for you on Thursday (12th March), so do please go and keep them company. We intend being back on Tuesday 17th March, but the way the world is at the moment, anything could happen, so I'll keep you posted if there are any delays. Class back to normal on 19th March, all being well. We are then away again the following week, again no Tuesday class (24th March). Hopefully we can do the same with cover for the Thursday class that week, but I'll keep you posted. Let's keep dancing while we're still allowed to have "public gatherings" and hopefully the exercise and mood enhancers it brings will keep you smiling and healthy! See you soon Debz x |
