Firstly, a massive thank you to Nicola who took the 2 classes whilst I was away visiting my family and for stepping in to cover the next 3 weeks. Things should return to normal once I'm back on 18th May but in the meantime, please support Nic in attending the class if you possibly can. As I've said before, it's really tough covering another teacher's class, much harder than doing your own class, so I'm very grateful to Nic for stepping into the breach again.
Wow! What a super busy class it was on Thursday. So many new faces. I hope everyone enjoyed the class and keeps coming. You will learn every week and, as with most things in life, the more you practice the easier it gets. Nicola and I were just discussing this - I mentioned that I never thought I would be a runner, it never even occurred to me until I was nearly 50! But I did the training programme and stuck with it. (I must admit that I slacked off during the winter and am struggling to get my fitness back up at the moment, but I've done it before and guess what - I'm back on the training programme). The good news is that line dancing is easier than running a 5k - honest! And it has so many health benefits, low impact exercise, improving memory and it makes you happy!
Looking forward to seeing you all again mid May, but in the meantime, enjoy the classes with Nicola and don't forget Wagon Wheel Roundup on 28th and 29th April. Details are on the events page.
See you soon x
