I have attempted to contact all former members and those new to us who booked last summer, so if you haven't received a text or email from me, please get in touch asap.
If space allows (and we're working on very restricted numbers at present) I will then open up to any new dancers.
All classes will be on Thursday evenings in Manselton for the time being. There will be 3 levels of class and you will need to book and pay for a block of weeks in advance. I propose the first session to be 4 weeks to take us up to the school holidays, which seems a good place to plan to at the moment.
As we are now used to everything being subject to change, you will realise that it is difficult for us to plan ahead with any certainty, so we'll see how the booking process goes, what the take-up is like (it will not be viable to run any class under capacity) and how everyone feels about the classes once up and running, before making any further plans for the future.
It has been a long and difficult winter for all of us. Personally, I cannot wait to get back on a decent dance floor and get teaching again. But it will be different to how it used to be, there won't be the chance for social interaction (chatting) in class at the moment (teacher's dream scenario). However, there's nothing to stop all 6 class members from going to a pub after class for a good old natter and catch up (under current regulations at time of writing) if you want to.
The invalid is home and recovering although it will be a slow process. Thanks for the get well wishes and cards.
We really hope to see you all soon.
